I would like to welcome everyone to our school website. I am proud to be Principal at South Johnstone State School.

Our school is a vibrant, active and progressive learning organisation where we value relationships, engagement and achievement. We are committed to ensuring that we provide the best learning opportunities and social experiences to enable our students to become active, engaged, socially responsible and life-long learners. We pride ourselves on developing productive partnerships and relationships with our students, their families and the wider community.

In addition to the eight Key Learning Areas, we offer a range of extra-curricula activities and programs, as well our nationally recognised “Going for Gold” program focussing on the development of social skills. Our staff are very experienced, dedicated and passionate professionals who maintain an active interest in the lives of our students. They are committed to the attributes of life-long learning and model this behaviour by engaging in regular professional development activities to maintain currency in educational trends.
