South Johnstone State School is characterised by its dynamic team of dedicated and innovative professionals.

The team is comprised of a teaching principal, 3 teacher aides, administration officer, groundsman and cleaner. This core staff is supported by a learning support teacher, music teacher, health & physical education teacher, Italian teacher, instrumental music teacher, students with disabilities support teacher, guidance officer and a range of other support staff.

The staff manages many of the curriculum innovations and organisational elements of the school with a TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) approach.

South Johnstone State School’s team philosophy has supported its networking with other Innisfail schools and involvement in the Canecutter Cluster of Schools.
